2010 UpdateDear Airstream Owner: Did you know the best thing about owning an Airstream Trailer is belonging to Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) and the Akron Ohio Unit? The Akron Unit is a young at heart unit of local owners of Airstream trailers. This past summer the Akron Unit has traveled to: Lewisburg, WV. (Region 4 Rally), Madison, Wi. (International Rally), Sandusky, Ohio, Linestone, Pa. (Pennwood, an Airstream only campground), Portage Lakes State Park (Akron), West Branch State Park (Ravenna) , Sugarcreek, Ohio (Swiss National Rally) and Carrolton, Ohio (Algonquin Festival). We have had many tours of museums, production factories; went fishing, boating, white water rafting, hiking, and; of course, many warm campfires. Next summer (2010) we have plans to go to Wauseon, Ohio for the Region 4 Rally and to Gillette, Wy. for the International Rally plus 5 additional local rallies planned by members of the Akron Unit. The cost of WBCCI membership is $55.00 (International) and $12.00 (Akron Dues) annually. You will receive the “Blue Beret” Magazine (10 issues), a national “Directory of Membership”, the monthly Akron Newsletter, Discounts on Emergency Travel Insurance, Courtesy Parking on a nationwide basis, and be entitled to all WBCCI Caravans, unit, regional and International rallies, plus 1400 other activities across our great country.
